Dear Brooke Avenue PS community,
I hope everyone is safe and well. I also hope you've managed to enjoy your time at home even under 'stay at home' Health Orders.
You may have seen in the media this morning that the Health Orders will be extended and that schools on the Central Coast will not return to face-to-face teaching next week.
Families are encouraged to keep their children at home next week. Monday is our planned School Development Day and staff will be working to prepare 'at home learning'.
From Tuesday we will have minimal supervision for students that need to be at school. Most staff will be working from home.
Students will be working on the same work program whether they are at home or at school. On Monday we will advise of the ways student work can be collected or downloaded.
Any adult coming to school must wear a mask.
We'll provide further details through Facebook and Seesaw as we know more about what is happening.
Our school community did a great job of working together last year to keep everyone safe. I know we will get through this setback and continue to do the best for our school community.
